Aaron Kaplan plays on Friday

Blues and folk.

Aaron Lee Kaplan is a solo acoustic blues and folk fingerstyle guitarist and singer/songwriter currently living in Marshfield, WI. His music incorporates a diverse variety of influences, and has been described as Twisted Blues. When performing, Kaplan does a mix of originals and classic rock, blues and folk songs, and can do all-instrumental performances as well as vocal and guitar performances. He is also a private guitar instructor.

Kaplan (born 10/15/1985)  grew up in Salem, Oregon. Originally inspired by classic rock, he started writing songs and playing guitar around the age of 12. Around the age of 15, he began performing at area coffee shops, restaurants and book stores, and releasing self-produced albums.

Since moving to Wisconsin in 2005, Kaplan has performed, both as a soloist and with various groups, a wide variety of music, including classical, choral, bluegrass, folk/pop and rock. In September 2017, he released his EP Some Sunny Day, which has been well received by audiences. He is currently performing frequently around Wisconsin and is also in the planning stages for recording a full length album.
